ROOT INTO MOVEMENT – eine 5Rhythmen-Wave mit Zdenka Sajko

Everything we are is constantly moving on a micro level- the air is entering and leaving our lungs, the liquids of the body circulating, all of the muscles contracting and relaxing, the sensations, the thoughts, the emotions – all is in permanent flux, day in, day out.
Easing into this movement that is already happening as a given.
Finding your feet in an empty, quiet space or in the middle of a chaotic commotion –  that is the first stepping stone of this practice.
Giving yourself time to connect to the roots of the body and the roots of the dance, relaxing into the physicality of the moment.
Allowing whatever shows up with you on the dance floor, and letting it unravel into a movement, organically, giving it permission to shape itself through this body of yours, through this dance, again, again, and again…
Rooting into the only time this particular movement in this particular body is happening – now. Here.
This is the only true stability we have in the movement of all things.
